Terms of Service
These terms of service are provided by JumpLogo (a division of T-Media, Inc. of Florida, USA) as guidance of what to expect when doing business with us.
Written Policy
We follow our written policies and not verbal statements that contradict our policies. If you request an exception to our policies, please get it in writing.
Cancellation Policy
If we receive notification from you via email or telephone within 4 hours of placing the order that you wish to cancel, we will process a refund of 90% of what you paid. After the 4 hours, the order is no longer eligible for refund. This is because we incur expense in processing and creating your order immediately after it is placed.
Template Ownership
Our designs are our proprietary templates that we own and re-use for our customers. We do not provide you with the template file – only with your finished web-ready or print-ready file. Any template modifications we do for you may become an inspiration for a new template design that we make available for our customers. (Exception – your brand name, logo and other proprietary information will never be available for others to use). If you need a design created from scratch that will belong exclusively to you, please contact us for a quote.
Design Switching
If, after work has begun on your order, you decide that you’d like to change to a different design template than the one you originally selected – an additional charge will apply because it is extra work for our designers to transfer the work to the new design.
Rounds of Design
To ensure that your project is finished promptly and efficiently, we have a specific process for handling customization, revisions and approvals.
Steps in the process:
1. You provide a complete set of information for how the design should be customized (we’ll send you an easy form to fill out)
2. We customize the design according to your feedback and send to you for review
3. You are able to request changes (we’ll send you another easy form to use) that refines the design to your final target
4. We send the finalized design to you for approval
5. We receive your approval and send you the web-ready or print-ready file (and, in the case of logos, the source file)
If you require additional rounds of design revisions, an additional charge will apply.
Note: If your project finishes before all included rounds of design are used, there is no refund or pro-rating for not using all design rounds.
Print-ready Products
Our print-ready products are meant for professional offset printing. The paper size or card stock size of each product is the product description. If you require a different size (such as A4, half-fold, 11 x 17 and so on) – please contact us for a quote. The final file we send to you will include marks and bleeds – information the printer needs in order to do a good job printing for you. These files will not print nicely on regular printers in an office or at a local copy shop.
Web-ready Products
Our web-ready products are meant for electronic distribution. For example, you might post it to your website, display it on a computer at a tradeshow, or email it. They will not include printer’s marks. These products might or might not print nicely on regular printers. We cannot guarantee the print quality of web-ready products.
Editorial Control and Responsibility
We do not review your content for editorial quality (spelling, grammar, punctuation, spacing and so on). We do not fact check your content. We do not take any measures to validate that the content you provide is legally yours to use. We do not accept any liability for claims or statements you make as part of your content. All responsibility for editorial quality, fact-checking, plagiarism and fair business practices remain with you, the client.
Brand Infringement
We take care to avoid creating or customizing a design in a way that would infringe on an existing brand. However, we do not research your design against existing trademarks to make a legal determination. If you need to legally prove that your design does not infringe other brands, we recommend you contact an attorney who specializes in this field.
Images Used in the Products
If you use images provided by us, you have a single-use license for each image that is in your product. That means you can use it for the current product but not copy the image and use it in a new project. For example, your single-use license would allow you to print as many copies of your brochure as you want – but not to copy the image and use it on a post card that you create. You do not have exclusive use of the image.
If you provide images to us for use in your products, we do not retain copies of those images and do not re-use those images in any other projects. Images that you provide to us must be very high quality (highest possible resolution) and by submitting those images to us you certify that you have legal right to use them. We do not validate that you have legal right to use the images you provide to us. Liability for using images legally remains with you, the client.
Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse to work on projects we find objectionable. These would include, but are not limited to, works of a pornographic nature, works that promote discrimination, and works that promote illegal activities or involve hate speech.
Updates to Terms of Service
We update our terms of service as needed. Please check back regularly to see the terms of service that are in effect at the time of your purchase.
